NewsBreak Customer Insights
1. Now, I can see the list of stories, but anytime I click on one to open it......... It won't load! Same stuff it was doing before! NewsBreak..... Fix your app!Ever since I downloaded the app, my phone has been super slow.
2. Kind of pointless and should just open the browser version of it to have it work.Constantly crashing! I can never can find the news article I was reading after it crashes.
3. Also, the story won't load 75% of the time and you have to copy the link into the browser just to read the article.
4. I stuck it out hoping thus would get fixed.Most of the articles are junk with poor grammar, spelling and errors that should have been caught before publication.
5. After dealing with this and other aggressive behavior a couple of times and uninstalling it once before, I have decided to now uninstall it for an indefinite period of time.
6. You have to go through multiple pages which it confusing, time consuming, and often it causes me to unintentionally opening ads.The preview pops up.
7. Goodby.*UPDATE 2ND REVIEW * After foolishly giving this app a 2nd chance, it now seem to be completely overtaken by time wasting, hard to get around ADS ! I've had enough.
8. My first time didn't go so well and I was hoping after 6 months or more they would've fixed the bug.
9. Moving to Google news instead! Articles fail to load and ultimately the app crashes and restarts.
10. The volume of notifications eventually cause my phone to freeze, so I have to be really careful so I don't overload the system by accidentally pressing buttons.
11. I have been using this app for quite a while and lately (past few months) it has been extremely buggy and unreliable.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NewsBreak Issues
1. Fix NewsBreak Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart NewsBreak: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the NewsBreak App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NewsBreak" » Open NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NewsBreak » click "UPDATE".
- Clear NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NewsBreak servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check NewsBreak app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NewsBreak might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall NewsBreak. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NewsBreak then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NewsBreak not working
2. Fix NewsBreak Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NewsBreak be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NewsBreak not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NewsBreak may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I have a follow up you posted back in May about Terrence Paul Corry. I was the one that stopped the attack. He has a court hearing set for tomorrow in Cobb County Superior Court for Judge Hill. He is getting a bullshit plea agreement when this could go to trial and he would die in jail instead of getting out in ten years maybe less for good behavior. I am his sister and it was my mother he beat the breaks off of and he deserves a more harsh sentence. The ADA Amanda Buxton was just clearing her case load. Please call me ASAP 678-978-1739.

I have been using Newsbreak for about 3 years and am now going to delete the app. Not only has it started freezing up but things not news have been added like Classified, Deals etc that are not news. I go into preferances and remove them only to have them show up again within minutes. I also do not consider homes for sale news stories but now see as many homes for sale ad news articles. I have went from giving newsbreak 5 stars to not even 1star based on the recent changes to the app. As soon as I find a new app I will delete newsbreak and ask everyone including those I converse with on the app to switch as well. I also just learned while trying to contact you that this app is also owned by the Chinese not an American company. Newsbreak cannot be contacted from within the app which is crazy. The choice of newsbreak to go from a news app to a sells app has I'm sure cost you more than myself as a dedicated reader.

An article was published 14 hours ago titled “ Coral Springs Police Arrested Man For Strangling His Sister Over Mail”. This needs to be removed immediately because you did not speak to any of the siblings involved and everything you published is absolutely untrue.
