1. The app connects to the media player running on your Windows PC via your WiFi network and allows you to view information about currently playing tracks and control every important playback feature.
2. Please note that the automatic server discovery feature requires at least Android 4. 1 (Jelly Bean) and is not supported by all devices.
3. MonkeyMote gives you a full-fledged wireless music remote control for your Android phone.
4. It fully supports the popular foobar2000, MediaMonkey 4, Winamp, AIMP 2 & 3 and JRiver Media Center media players.
5. In case you run into problems when setting up the app or plug-in, please visit the support page at first.
6. It is disabled by default on devices that are not running at least Android 4. 4 due to an operating system bug that can trigger reboots on some devices.
1. Now it won't let me progress other than cancel! Why is there not a dark themeAin't perfect but it simply works.. It's free.. Not too many ads.. I only wish it could show the playlist better.Just works, nothing else comes near to the functionality and responsiveness. Can't connect to my servers so it is useless and I also hate the horizontal layout.
2. Just search it on the net and make it ready to show in case we slide the screen πIt may be misssing some functionality, but it is reliable and it just works.
3. Will be great if you add notification menu control option, so that you dont need change window to switch to next music, but only open notification menu, like in some radio players. Can't get it to work.
4. Even though free version works just fine (ads are there, but they do not interfere with app functionality), I'm buying it to support development of this app.
5. Highly recommend, keep up the good work!Works somewhat okay on an older device.
6. I love it! One suggestion: it would be cool if we could slide the screen from right to left to see the lyrics for the song playing.
7. The Playlist, which had 5,000 entries, was cleared AND DELETED by a slight mistake with my finger.
8. Downside: I was looking at Playlist options, and accidentally selected "clear Playlist".
9. Minimal ad intrusion, easy setup, works.
10. This delivers a bare bones way to play music on my computer using my phone.
11. But replacing the Playlist was still a huge pain.
