RxLocal Customer Insights

1. Recently, however, it has added a step to "Please Verify your Information!" The process asks to input information exactly how the pharmacy has it, which I do, and then it says it will send a text message to verify information.

2. However, after clicking "next" multiple times, I always receive the message, "Unable to Send Code." What's more frustrating, is that I am a pharmacy owner who uses this software.

3. Now every single time you try to open it you have to enter name, birthday, go thru 2 agreement screens to receive a text, get the text and enter the passcode sent to you just to see your prescriptions.

4. 12 times I tried.. it shouldn't be that difficult to register and since it is I can only imagine how painful the app will be to actually use.I really liked this app when I first started using it, but the past couple of months I either can't log on at all or it will tell me my meds are all outdated, which they are not.

5. I have to send a note for delivery. It doesn't show if a medication has been filled and ready to pick up.

6. I like that I can request refills through the app, and message the pharmacy instead of having to call them.

7. Makes you push retry after every failed attempt.Unfortunately it doesn't update, for example: you requested a refill, it takes forever to show it's in progress, then it continues to say in progress.

8. When I try to open the app, it doesn't open and keeps giving the error message that the app keeps closing.

9. It's frustrating for customers, and super frustrating for me as a pharmacy owner.

10. Full of unnecessary filter pages like the one telling me on the next page is where I'll pick which medications I want to refill after I select refill my medications.

11. Would be real nice if someone could get back and tell me what to do!!RxLocal worked great for a long time.

  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RxLocal not working

2. Fix RxLocal Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RxLocal be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RxLocal not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RxLocal may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Rxlocal app password reset code validation via text responds "invalid" within the Rxlocal app. At 5his point, the reset tool loops continuesly until the diminishing returns timer starts to get longer. Preventing a hacker trying multiple attempts.
I tried clearing the app cache. Restarting the phone. Delete & reinstalling app. 1&2. 2&3. 1&3. 1,2, &3. All fail. Tried all above on an older galaxy so. Fail.
This is a galaxy s20 ultra.
I was able to load my wife's app in her exact same phone. I also tried setting up a new profile.
I call the pharmacy earlier last week. They could not help.
BTW, I am a pharmacist and used to be an IT Director that also adopted PioneerRx. I currently manage a non PioneerRx pharmacy. I also looked at Rxlocal app and grand all permissions. I even tried reset password via email. But I notice that the email codes arrive very late. Minutes to hours later. Or never at all. I seem to get a single email code that fails and then the next attempts are so late that I must give up.

It also seems that rxlocal websites have multiple logings that look like they should be linked or common. This made me believe that my rxlocal password should word on these other websites or vice versa, that their resets would work my app.

  • I am trying to switch my pharmacy app from Community Pharmacy in Winnsboro, LA to K & S Drug also located in Winnsboro, LA., but when I try to log into my current account, I receive an error message that my password is incorrect. When I enter the validation code to change my password, I keep getting an error message that the validation code I entered is invalid. Can you completely delete my current account so that I can start over and set up a new account. I would really like to be able to use the app with my new pharmacy if I can ever get it to work!!!
