But when I reach out to support they want to sell me something else.I like Bitdefender Security except for when I sometimes make phone calls and try to send certain text messages, I am unable to do so until I end up turning off the VPN and then I have no problems and after that I end up turning the VPN back onReally not recommended it's spyware app not trusted be careful, I even returned router because of it.With a full membership I can depend on my family being protected; with a family that is safe and protected online.

Have a good time calling India weeklyThis used to work and doesn't, they charged me twice for the same subscription as well and never refunded me they also put the support I bought on a different router I hooked up once and returned to store! So I wanted about 300 bucks with them! I am owed money I already co tasted customer service and they claim they would refund and lied.

I'm addition, while this may very well be the better of the security suites out there, what's frustrating is the lack of detail when a breach is found, as well as lack of resolutions or why there may not be any resolution.It's the same App pictured Armor security on a newly purchased Net gear ORBI WiFi router.

4. Even after getting that straightened out 3 different times each time the Orbi App doesn't reflect that it's protected by Armor Security and doesn't even show that the phone has Armor security.

5. I also restart router to have no armor and a trial everytime...very upset lousy customer serviceApp does not work and will not all anywhere access to be set.

6. Net gear routers and this app and the ORBI router App have many issues if your ISP has signals above 7dBmV per channel.

7. We pay the same amount as a normal bit defender subscription, we deserve such basic and crucial features.Huge battery charge sacrifice.

8. It became so annoying that I finally disabled the app lock feature.I like everything about this app, except the fact that its pretty much exactly the same thing as bitdefender central, without several key features.

9. The mobile app itself is not secure and cannot be locked with a PIN to protect a criminal from going into the app and disabling all of it's features.

10. I am very disappointed by the app and they try to force you to disable your Secure Boot (encryption) on your device in order for their Web Protection feature to function, which makes my device even more vulnerable.

11. Most of the time it will freeze up when you launch an app that is protected by it, and you cannot log in to gain access to the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NETGEAR Armor Issues

1. Fix NETGEAR Armor Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NETGEAR Armor: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NETGEAR Armor App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NETGEAR Armor" » Open NETGEAR Armor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NETGEAR Armor » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear NETGEAR Armor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NETGEAR Armor servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NETGEAR Armor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NETGEAR Armor app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NETGEAR Armor might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NETGEAR Armor. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NETGEAR Armor then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NETGEAR Armor not working


2. Fix NETGEAR Armor Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NETGEAR Armor be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NETGEAR Armor not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NETGEAR Armor may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
