AT&T ActiveArmor℠ Customer Insights

1. It keeps telling me it will only work with Mobile data.

2. Go to settings and turn on mobile data." I have a cellular connection, and my mobile data is turned on.

3. That makes it almost useless unless you don't use 2 step verfication.This is the best free app I have found that blocks unwanted calls and allows me to block and report fraud and spam.

4. Seems like a pretty big problem considering it's the Mobile Security installed on my phone.

1. Fix AT&T ActiveArmor℠ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AT&T ActiveArmor℠: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AT&T ActiveArmor℠ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AT&T ActiveArmor℠" » Open AT&T ActiveArmor℠ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AT&T ActiveArmor℠ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AT&T ActiveArmor℠ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AT&T ActiveArmor℠ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AT&T ActiveArmor℠" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AT&T ActiveArmor℠ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AT&T ActiveArmor℠ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AT&T ActiveArmor℠. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AT&T ActiveArmor℠ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AT&T ActiveArmor℠ not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AT&T ActiveArmor℠ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AT&T ActiveArmor℠ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AT&T ActiveArmor℠ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
