About MOMAX cam

1. Press the Bluetooth shutter's down button (Zoom Out), and you will be able to control the zoom-out function of your mobile device's camera.

2. Press the Bluetooth shutter's up button (Zoom In), and you will be able to control the zoom-in function of your mobile device's camera.

3. Press the Bluetooth shutter's left button (Switch Photo/Video), and you will be able to switch between the Video-Recording mode and the Photo-Taking mode.

4. Quickly press the Bluetooth shutter's middle button (Photo).

5. In the Video-Recording mode, it will start recording when you press the middle button.

6. Press the same button again to stop recording, and the video clip will be automatically saved to the album.

1. App not updated since 2016This app needs updating, it used to work on my S9+ but now I can't switch to the front camera since various updates on my phone.Its a selfie stick but cannot switch to selfie-camera, the app will freeze and close directly.

2. selfie cam doesn't work with the Note10+, makes this app pointless.Video resolution fix to 720x480??? So low??? How to change it? At least must same as main camera setting.it doesn't work on the front camera for S10+.And it would hang and crash.

Good if the BT could be reprogrammed for use by the user, as it's a good little addition to the whole setup, otherwise I will just be using the selfie stick.Great stick, friendly user but is there any chance to upgrade for better resolution due to the result not really a perfect picture same as video quality.

4. My screen stay on when I use the included camera aplication.Not compatable with Samsung s21 ultra... remote button doesn't allow you to switch between front and back camera.

5. Momax camera app quality is not as good as the native camera app, plus it froze every time I used the momax app and tried to change to the front facing camera.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MOMAX cam Issues

1. Fix MOMAX cam Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MOMAX cam: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MOMAX cam App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MOMAX cam" » Open MOMAX cam » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MOMAX cam » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MOMAX cam app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MOMAX cam servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MOMAX cam" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MOMAX cam app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MOMAX cam might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MOMAX cam. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MOMAX cam then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MOMAX cam not working


2. Fix MOMAX cam Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MOMAX cam be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MOMAX cam not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MOMAX cam may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
