1. Android Phone Surveillance Software gDMSS Lite, Android Phone Remote Surveillance Software, Support Remote Suveillance and PTZ Control. gDMSS Lite is the lite version of the gDMSS Plus.

Avoid it as much as possible!I've been using this App since 2018 & was very reliable for remote monitoring of my 8 Dahua Surveillance Cameras; App has been UNRELIABLE FOR THREE (3) MONTHS NOW; since the start of 2023!!!; remote access/Live Preview was INTERMITTENT & takes forever to load; certainly NOT a problem of internet connectivity, for my OTHER two (2) BluRam IP CAMs are also using the same internet connectivity but different App & have remained reliable for remote access/Live Preview.

2. This is the most useless app ever! For something that is supposed to be about security, the cameras never load, the playback is HORRIBLE, the time displayed doesn't synch up to the current time, and basically nothing on it works! It gives you absolutely no peace of mind by being able to check in on your home/business in real time.

In the past with other version I have same problem (self close the app) The app have a lot of function, the best is how easy is to move some camera from one phone to another one, very easy to create favorite, playback works easy, nice to organize if you have more dvr.Worrying. The app initially worked well.

4. Wish you could sync playback time like the desktop app.The app is unreliable, it takes several attempts to view cameras and will no longer select a camera when tapping twice.

5. I'd love to be able to install this app on a laptop running Linux.Changing resolution on a channel to HD results into black screen; need to change channel and go back to restore view -1*.

6. Deforms aspect ratio in portrait, does not allow 6 views (only 4 or 9), does not allow resolution change in landscape, does not rotate based on gravity sensor unless rotation button to turn right is enabled and then rotates back and forth, -1*.Works fine for me.

7. Projects bad image for DAHUA!.Bring back the old version and layout! It automatically changed the interface in the app and now it's so complicated to navigate, the SD and HD options have disappeared, playback is horrible, no more user friendly!This app has suddenly changed.

8. This needs to be fixed as soon as people, my family and I are depending on this app, and without its ability to work and function, it defeats the purpose of installing the cctv camera.

9. I had to play and think a little bit, but I was able to view both my cameras right on my phone.

10. What is the use of having a camera app where you are not able to identify the people in it.Works very good.

11. Sometimes on my phone, it self close without any message, just close the application when I want to open some camera.

1. Fix gDMSS Lite Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart gDMSS Lite: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the gDMSS Lite App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "gDMSS Lite" » Open gDMSS Lite » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for gDMSS Lite » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear gDMSS Lite app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from gDMSS Lite servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "gDMSS Lite" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check gDMSS Lite app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, gDMSS Lite might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall gDMSS Lite. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall gDMSS Lite then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing gDMSS Lite not working

2. Fix gDMSS Lite Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make gDMSS Lite be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to gDMSS Lite not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, gDMSS Lite may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
