2. The app works well for the most part and has a lot of potential, but on numerous occasions, I've had an issue with the videos playing multiple instances of the same audio when I've tried seeking to a part before or after where the video was originally playing.

3. But my login information isn't saved, so i have to manually sign in every time (signing in through library), the sign in process has a tendency of hanging up and taking over a minute to complete, and then the overall app experience is fairly buggy.

4. Videos are also stretched/cropped when played in fullscreen mode, so I often cannot see things like menu bars / footers in videos that contain screen recordings.Watching videos through the app is... fine.

5. This app probably works best on a WiFi network, at least for someone with my hardware/network combination (Pixel 2, T-Mobile ONE).The content is great but the app is sort of buggy.

6. Uninstalled, i really hope Lynda gets their act together with all of their apps.Nice interface, but the player doesn't stream as smoothly for me as other apps.

7. It's really inconvenient to have to create a playlist to be able to access a leaving path, and to have to consult said playlist all the time because the downloads are all over the place and not in order.

8. Don't want to be discouraging the devs and really hope that the app will get better with time.Audio only is buggy.

9. Couple of bugs I noticed are : - sometimes downloading content freezes at a random point and cannot resume, regardless of restarting the app.

10. A lot of the time I have to unlock my phone in order for the next track to start playing.

11. Other than that, it's a great app.It's a great app however because of the display size you cannot see learning paths.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lynda Issues

1. Fix Lynda Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lynda: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lynda App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lynda" » Open Lynda - Online Training Videos » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lynda » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lynda - Online Training Videos app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lynda servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lynda - Online Training Videos" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lynda app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lynda might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lynda. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lynda then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lynda not working


2. Fix Lynda Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lynda be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lynda not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lynda may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
