1. they need to make the app more like the predecessors and use the remote turn on and off switch along with better distance as an update along with to top it all off, usable with the megaboom and boom speakers as one, the party up and DJ option on the boom and megaboom app is perfect, fix these issues and you're golden.speaker sounds great! One major problem, I can't do anything with my phone while trying to use the speaker, or the music quits playing.

It was working before and I've had the 2 megablast apart about 65ft apart and the signal was still strong.I have two megablast speakers and connecting the two together is the most temperamental experience, it requires so much setup to get them to connect and even then it rarely works and I have to start the whole process of connecting them to Bluetooth again.

3. Even in the megablast app, I cant even use other parts of the app without the music stopping anytime something is selected (menu, going to home page, etc, anything)The only good thing about this speaker is that it sounds good.

4. I'll be looking for something new that actually works and selling these speakers off, cheap.Can't connect to my phone.

5. also my speaker randomly disconnects and skipsWhen My 2 megablast speaker are synced and they are just about far apart bout 16 ft away it starts to makes a Crackling or popping noises or something interfering weak signal.

6. I think UE should reposition its focus from trying to make a smart speaker that as a result becomes a buggy mess to just making a great speaker.

7. I bought a pair of megabkast speakers to enjoy a wide stereo sound.

8. I tried everything to see it needs update on the app and the phone is up to date for updates and i have restarted the phone and connect it along with wifi , still comes out the same results.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BLAST & MEGABLAST Issues

1. Fix BLAST & MEGABLAST Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BLAST & MEGABLAST: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BLAST & MEGABLAST App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BLAST & MEGABLAST" » Open BLAST & MEGABLAST by Ultimate » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BLAST & MEGABLAST » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BLAST & MEGABLAST by Ultimate app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BLAST & MEGABLAST servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BLAST & MEGABLAST by Ultimate " » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BLAST & MEGABLAST app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BLAST & MEGABLAST might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BLAST & MEGABLAST. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BLAST & MEGABLAST then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BLAST & MEGABLAST not working


2. Fix BLAST & MEGABLAST Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BLAST & MEGABLAST be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BLAST & MEGABLAST not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BLAST & MEGABLAST may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
