Harmony Express Customer Insights

1. I can get her to turn on and off the tv, the blue ray player and if I call Roku Xbox it will change to Roku.

2. If I set up Xbox I lose Roku but it can't find Roku so I have to forego Xbox to get Roku to show up.

3. I had to find every model number since Harmony couldn't and Alexa can't change channels.

4. If I change anything in the Alexa app I lose all connection to Alexa.

5. It does not do a great job and I can only use the volume control on the remote for one input.

6. I appreciate them helping to fix this quickly.Doesn't play well with Alexa.

7. The others ot keeps trying to use the TV volume which I have disabled.

8. The main issue is setting up a soundbar with this device and app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Harmony Express Issues

1. Fix Harmony Express Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Harmony Express: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Harmony Express App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Harmony Express" » Open Harmony Express » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Harmony Express » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Harmony Express app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Harmony Express servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Harmony Express" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Harmony Express app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Harmony Express might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Harmony Express. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Harmony Express then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Harmony Express not working


2. Fix Harmony Express Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Harmony Express be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Harmony Express not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Harmony Express may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
