It has you connected to a Wi-Fi signal that the sound bar puts off that produces no internet and seems to serve no purpose, every time you open the app it refreshes the page for 30 sec to try and connect to a new soundbar, who has more than one or two of these? Why are the sound bars not saved so you can access their settings later? 1 star.

2. Fix your stuffI agree with everyone else and you shouldn't have to use Google at all to set up this device but guess what, I didn't! Mine paired with Bluetooth easily thanku! What I don't like is I can't use Amazon Alexa with it! It's a thing! Also, I would have loved to connect a set of my own speakers or subwoofer to it instead of a specific pair u have to pay separately for! Why? Why can't I manually connect my own? I'm ok with a loss in quality/features for that ability! LG this product is bad for ur rep!I have a new LG JS2 (85) and trying to connect to a new chromecast with Google TV.

3. I can easily connect via BT and play sound from my phone, but the app doesn't think it can find the speaker.

4. I installed the 'sound bar app' to set up the system, after some 15-20 attempts I managed to connect only twice, BT refused to connect at all, this app is absolute rubbish and needs some serious intervention by LG to get it functional.

5. This is the third time the sound bar has magically forgotten how to connect to the network since I've gotten it.

1. Fix LG Soundbar Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart LG Soundbar: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the LG Soundbar App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LG Soundbar" » Open LG Soundbar » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LG Soundbar » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear LG Soundbar app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LG Soundbar servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LG Soundbar" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check LG Soundbar app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LG Soundbar might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall LG Soundbar. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LG Soundbar then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LG Soundbar not working

2. Fix LG Soundbar Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LG Soundbar be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LG Soundbar not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LG Soundbar may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
