Why should I report an Issue with SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files?

1. It's a little more confusing than drop box at first, but I'd choose their over dropbox due to storage limits.This app is awesome for transferring files, but for some reason my new Samsung phone is having some issues connecting with the computer app.

2. Share it worked right away and I only had issues with a few pictures, but overall it transfered over 2,000 pictures in a really quick time and I only lost a few pictures.Shareit used to be great! Now they added these annoying videos that come up straight in your face even if you don't want to see them.

3. They can add these options but not forcing them on the user.It is a great app to share files between different brands of android devices.

4. I don't know who asked for the videos or the music.. This is an app to share your media or files, not to watch videos or hear music.

5. Need to tinker with my computer's (multiple) security to find out which one is preventing the connection.I think it was this app the AV complained was infected (it was in my Play Store library).

6. This is a file sharing app, but it asks for location access before it will allow any files to be sent or received.

7. I do not mind some advertising because the creators need a source of income for living but, different than other apps, this app is bloated with ads.

9. Better not happen again.Just downloaded this app and my Android and ipad talked to each other, but i can't figure out how to use the videos that it transferred.

1. Fix SHAREit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SHAREit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SHAREit App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SHAREit" » Open SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SHAREit » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SHAREit servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SHAREit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SHAREit might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SHAREit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SHAREit then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SHAREit not working

2. Fix SHAREit Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SHAREit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SHAREit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SHAREit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
