1. It's annoying enough to grade it down.The school is 860 miles away?! Our school now shows up as being in Canada, rather than its 3 mile distance, and the app zooms way out every few seconds so we have to keep zooming in to see where the bus is, only to have it zoom out.

2. I wish that the app would auto-zoom IN and not just OUT (or just nix the auto-zoom, all together); it re-adjusts every couple of seconds to include my child's school on the map but all I REALLY need to see is how far away the bus is from my house... so, the ux could use an actual user's perspective.

3. I got an alert both times the bus was near my house and I wish it would have only alerted me when it was nearby to pick up my child.Edit update 2-1-23 They fixed the zoom feature and now the app works as it should.

4. I also really don't need to get notifications every time the bus enters the notification zone, even if it's not running my child's route.I like the ability to see the bus location.

5. Some of our schools share buses between the elementary, middle, and high schools (since they all have different hours), so my child's bus was near our house twice picking up another child in a different grade level then a little later picking up my child.

6. Zoom behavior could also be improved.Now we're experiencing late notifications, and still the inability of tracking the bus, along with no planed trips each day, and only one of my children being acknowledged.

7. The buses location can still be quite slow to update, but I think that is a problem with the host phone regarding gps and cell signal and most likely not the software so updated rating from 1 star to 5.

8. Zooming doesn't work well as it zooms out every time it tries to update the location.

9. Now one of our busses shows that it's in the ocean off the coast of Africa.Very good, but they need to be able to alert you when your child's bus is near for their route only.

10. Received zero notifications of the bus's arrival this morning, which is not great since it's -15° Update, still a terrible app.

11. The notifications are also a little hit or miss, I sometimes get notified that the bus is within the specified distance for pick-up or drop-off AFTER the bus has come/gone.Does what it supposed to.

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Edulog Parent Portal" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Edulog Parent Portal app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Edulog Parent Portal might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Edulog Parent Portal. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Edulog Parent Portal then reinstall.
