1. Many needed to be reset with each sound file or music track and they would not work with other things like zoom meetings, ringtones and so on.
2. The sensitivity of that volume booster could be knocked back a bit in my opinion but other than that this app is excellent! The virtualization feature is going to largely depend upon your headphones.
3. It's not just for music you already have on your device; it will work for streaming apps too! Well done on that part and I like how accessible it is in the drop-down notification menu area on my Galaxy S8.
4. I bluetooth my music from my phone in the car to a subwoofer/tweeter combo and the difference in the sound is amazing.
5. I didn't notice much difference when using the bass boost option with IEM's - they sounded very similar, until about 90%, at which point it sounded too muddy.
6. the only thing that disturbs it unfortunately is connecting to a Bluetooth headset this is the closest to a universal always on equalizer that I haveI have an LG V60 and despite it having nice audio features, the EQ is simply busted.
7. Calls are clearer, louder and when the other person has installed the same app the difference is noticeable.
8. With the Hifiman HE400i, I noticed an appreciable difference and it makes a lot more sense. Most all of the time it works exceptionally well except for when ads interrupt you.
9. Not only does this EQ work wonders, but the bass boost and virtualizer do a great job at enhancing the audio as well.
10. Additional thoughts : (1) The designer/s need to keep pace with change with a cross-platform dropdown menu offering a "share icon" (2) Could do with an ' A' 'B' so I can loop on whatever.
11. Some headphones have a very 'intimate' presentation of their sound - in which case there's little difference that you'll notice.
