1. Upping my rating to 5 stars, and will be purchasing the app as well.I have been trying to find an app that saves your speed data with your video.

2. I don't use a car charger or car Bluetooth, so I have to manually turn it off each time.Was about to buy a dashcam and then a friend said there are apps for that.

3. Or have it only auto launch when certain Bluetooth devices connect.Far better dash cam when using my phone than anything else you can buy.

4. It would receive 5 stars if (1) there was an ability to chose a focus point other than the center (like the top, so it doesn't not focus on the dashboard) and (2) the ability to have it turn off when you turn your GPS/location off.

5. There's enough settings that you can customize it to your needs whether your priority is video quality, storage space, or battery life.

6. Tons of apps say they do, and within the app it may show you data but the video itself is just a video with no ability to tie the data to it and export it.

7. All the overlay info I want on the video like speed, location and time.

8. Update 2021-11-24: The most recent changes fixed my issues, and added things like being able to run this app in the background while using Google Maps as well.

9. The dashcam turns on automatically when my phone connects to my Bluetooth.

10. If this app is doing all it says it does after a month I'll definitely donate and keep on using it.Pretty good app.

1. Fix Droid Dashcam Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Droid Dashcam: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Droid Dashcam App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Droid Dashcam" » Open Droid Dashcam - Video Recorder » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Droid Dashcam » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Droid Dashcam - Video Recorder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Droid Dashcam servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Droid Dashcam - Video Recorder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Droid Dashcam app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Droid Dashcam might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Droid Dashcam. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Droid Dashcam then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Droid Dashcam not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Droid Dashcam be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Droid Dashcam not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Droid Dashcam may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
