1. The whole point of this app is to allow the user to make use of Android Auto in vehicles that do not support Android Auto by allowing you to talk to your phone, via Google Assistant, to perform all the tasks you would normally have to take your eyes off the road and your hands off the wheel to complete.
2. Android Auto only shows a small strip on the top of my screen with half of that tiny space taken up by the text window, it's actually smaller than what my phone screen shows. When I first started using this app it worked really well.
3. So for example, if one goes to a doughnut shop before work one time, Android Auto will keep asking for weeks if one wants to there instead of work.I used to really like this app.
4. But Android Auto for phone screens utterly fails to provide even a clumsy work around for everyone else.
5. I also can't disconnect a call from Bluetooth if I want to use my handset in private when I have a passenger...if I turn off WiFi or Bluetooth, the app immediately turns them both back on.What about MOTORCYCLISTS? I have been a big Android Auto fan for as long as I can remember.
6. I think Android Auto is a great idea and it may work great with vehicles that were designed to make use of it.
7. Second, it now states "Please stop android auto" as it starts up! I have it set to start automatically when it connects to my car bluetooth.
8. Even if one deletes the location history in Google Maps, Android Auto will not delete it.
9. Sometimes the steering wheel music controls stop working so you have to reach for your phone to skip songs, meaning looking away from the road and nav.
10. Every time I even look in the phones direction while plugged in, Android Auto stops working.
11. After the new update I'm continuously having issues with location (GPS Signal getting lost) unless my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus) is unlocked and the app will not launch on my phone.
