1. ❤️I respect that it supports a fair few models but the newer models have not been updated for at least a year now.Doesnt support all models even tough they have obd2 portsno support for zafira b, but does not have the selection option of Zafira models.

5. The app works and it is very helpful but I am leaving 2 stars just so you add same more support for this model.

6. With cheap obd2 scanner and this app you can have all you need for basic opel diagnostic.

7. Works vell with viecar bt adapter and corsa c 2005 1.3 diesel.

8. All works fine with a cheap Bluetooth adapter.

9. Get the odd connection error but just retry and it works great.

10. There is nothing in the actuators tests and I thing there is some weird thing with the port deactivation position voltage.

11. Do NOT use the Carista device as previously advised by the author, it can't handle the necessary protocols, will not connect and is overpriced.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ScanMyOpel Issues

1. Fix ScanMyOpel Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ScanMyOpel: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ScanMyOpel App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ScanMyOpel" » Open ScanMyOpel » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ScanMyOpel » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ScanMyOpel app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ScanMyOpel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ScanMyOpel" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ScanMyOpel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ScanMyOpel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ScanMyOpel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ScanMyOpel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ScanMyOpel not working


2. Fix ScanMyOpel Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ScanMyOpel be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ScanMyOpel not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ScanMyOpel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
