Why should I report an Issue with Shlonik - شلونك?

Shlonik Customer Insights

1. Worsts is while you struggle you also receive text messages and even recorded phone calls reminding that you haven't yet checked in meanwhile you aren't able to...frustrating!The application doesn't work! Ever since I arrived today at 7 am, I instantly installed and activated the application, I keep getting notifications that I should check in, however, when I go to heck in, I'm faced with this statement "No check in is required currently" additional the tracking doesn't seem to work even though I gave the application full access to my location all the time.

2. Second time using in Jan 2022 not able to check in as app says 'check in not required' but keep receiving phone calls that I have missed check in.Just as all the other negative reviews mentioned, this app is not working properly.

3. I just returned early this morning and aside from the lack of any kind of courtesy (I was asked to check in 6+ times starting from 9:30am) it requests a check in but when I try, it says "a check in is not required at this time" and I continue to get warning messages to check in before it expires.

4. This is rather disappointing and worrying as I keep getting these warning and I can't do anything about it.Notifications don't disappear after check-in is done - have to reopen app several times for the notifications to go.. No audible sound notifications so have to keep checking phone for messages.

5. But all in all, not bad 👍-No audible sounds on notifications -Notifications doesn't disappear after opening the app.(Sometimes need to open the app 3-5 times to make them disappear) -Even after they disappear, you will get it in 10 mins again which is frustrating.

6. Folks calling from international locations have been wasting money on international calling charges after spending significant time waiting for an answer.

7. (After taking a selfie, pressing "proceed" just makes the button freeze on loading animation.) For a mandatory, nation-wide health application, these bugs are not acceptable at all.Not working well at all.

8. For a mandatory app and quick rollout to the entire nation you'd think more time and effort would be put into making sure the app and runs properly on all different platforms.

9. Why you are mentioning the contact number uselessly and wasting others precious time.

10. Submission of the check in rarely goes through, and I have to reset the app several times just for it to work.

11. After learning that the company was involved in creating such a horrendous app, I was quite irritated by the fact that I weren't able to rest or take shower mid-day fearing that I'd miss the notification.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Shlonik Issues

1. Fix Shlonik Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Shlonik: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Shlonik App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Shlonik" » Open Shlonik - شلونك » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Shlonik » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Shlonik - شلونك app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Shlonik servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Shlonik - شلونك" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Shlonik app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Shlonik might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Shlonik. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Shlonik then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Shlonik not working


2. Fix Shlonik Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Shlonik be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Shlonik not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Shlonik may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello, First time i came to kuwait on 9th April 2022 .I am trying to register on the Shlonik app by entering my Indian passport number in the Passport Number of Visitor field but the app keeps telling me that the number is an invalid Civil ID.From last 3 days I am trying but still showing same error .I am fully vaccinated and also RT pcr test done while coming to kuwait .

  • I came back from holiday on Feb.2 2022, and I should be in quarantine for 7days but I cannot activate Shlonik on my mobile. My zain sim has been expired but already renewed, still I cannot activate Shlonik.
