1. I really like talking with the experts and being able to ask them questions, i didn't think id be talking to real people! I would highly recommend this tool to anyone who has plants in their house or garden.The categories are nice and it's a large plan selection, but the thumbnails are too small and half the plants don't have an accompanying picture, so it's useless for identification.I have always had trouble growing a garden, and sense this pandemic started I thought I would give it another try and one of my friends recommended this app to me, and ever sense I got it my plants haven't only survived they have thrived and I finally have the garden I always dreamed of.I'm unable to add the same plant twice.

2. I loaded up my plants so I can see what they need and I am looking for a garden center in my area (which I am guessing is coming soon?) keep it up.. I can see this can be my all in one Plant care.Update: I encourage anyone who is looking for the best app out there to cover all your questions this is it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Smart Plant Home Issues

1. Fix Smart Plant Home Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Smart Plant Home: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Smart Plant Home App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart Plant Home" » Open Smart Plant Home » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart Plant Home » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Smart Plant Home app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart Plant Home servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Plant Home" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Smart Plant Home app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Plant Home might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Plant Home. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Plant Home then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smart Plant Home not working


2. Fix Smart Plant Home Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smart Plant Home be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smart Plant Home not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smart Plant Home may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
