1. Gatewise allows tenants in the multifamily to open the Main Gate via an App.

2. Instead of using Clickers / KeyFobs / Smart Cards, Just click the App Button and the Gate will be opened.

1. I guess I'll have to keep fumbling with my phone as a line forms behind me.Absolutely the worst idea ever! My complex went to this app only to open our gates.

2. Key fobs are perfect; they're reliable, they can open my garage, if I lose my phone, I still have my keys, if my phone is low on battery or can't connect, I can still open the gate.

3. I now have to unlock my phone, open the app, and press the gate button all while OPERATING A VEHICLE.

4. So now instead of reaching for a simple key fob and pressing a button, you have to find your phone, unlock the phone, open the app then press the gait button to open said gait.

5. Having internet on, Bluetooth on, restarting my phone, logging in and out of the app, deleting the app and redownloading it..nothing works!Apartment complex requires this.

I really resent the thought that this is being pushed despite the inconvenience and most likely to also track and invade my privacy as well with GPS location and logging my personal travel activity to/from my apartment.Almost daily the app says "No internet connection," even while streaming music and chatting with Gatewise via their app (so there is a connection).

7. If your phone battery does, you break the screen, etc., you're screwed and can't gain entry.This app is horrible.

8. I cannot get pass the initial phone verification part because I keep getting an error message.

9. I only keep it because it's required at my apartment complex (don't think the download numbers mean people love it).The most frustrating and inconvenient app that I have ever experienced.

1. Fix Gatewise Multifamily Access Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Gatewise Multifamily Access: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Gatewise Multifamily Access App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gatewise Multifamily Access" » Open Gatewise Multifamily Access » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gatewise Multifamily Access » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Gatewise Multifamily Access app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gatewise Multifamily Access servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gatewise Multifamily Access" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Gatewise Multifamily Access app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gatewise Multifamily Access might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Gatewise Multifamily Access. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gatewise Multifamily Access then reinstall.
