1. Endoscope came which instructions to use the USB Camera app (reviews say it has ads, didn't try it), but this works to view, take pictures, record video.
2. But, to my surprise, it is one of the few apps that works with my LG V40 ThinQ with Android 10.0. The pictures quality is good and it takes stills & videos.
3. It only fills about ½ the of my phone's screen.Tried it out, worked flawlessly with a cheap alibaba endoscope on Android 10 lineageos.
4. Would also be nice to have a way to take the photo one-handed easily, like using a volume button, since you're usually holding the phone in one hand and maneuvering the camera with the other, and stretching your thumb to the shutter button on-screen is not convenient. So far so good.
5. The real-time display of the camera was my key interest in order to utilize this as a bore-scope.FINALLY found an app that will work and is not plagued with ads! Now the problem is every time I use the endoscope (place it in my ear), the app crashes.
6. The only way to make it stop is to repeatedly tap on the screen so it doesn't time out. This app works with my Pixel 2XL running Android 10.
7. The manufacturer's prescribed app ("Endoscope Camera") crashes immediately after the splash screen; many alternative apps were loaded with ads.
8. Not many adjustments and no full screen options, which would be nice, BUT NO ADDS, completely free! I would pay for more features if the developer wanted to do that, but I am happy nonetheless.Android 11 on a SGS 20 FE.
9. If you're looking for a program with a high degree of compatibility combined with simplicity, this is your application.FINALLY - an app that works for my Takmly Borescope! The only one I have found that will.
10. Simplicity in its extreme, I haven't found many applications that work at all let alone one that works on just about any device you plug it into.
11. I will edit this review to reflect future experience if it differs. The app works great and opens automatically when I connect my borescope.
