1. It uses a policy in secure settings to directly tell android that it should assume the user has hidden keys (I. E. an application has requested fullscreen).
2. You can find tutorials online on how to install it for your OS. adb shell pm grant com. draco. immersive android. permission.
3. Google removed Global immersive mode support in Android 11, and there is nothing I can do to make it work.
4. Using Secure Settings, we can set an immersive mode that will be handled by Android properly.
5. The app can handle 2 types of immersion (they do not work at the same time).
6. To use this application, you must grant the application the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission. You'll need ADB.
7. There is status bar immersion, which will hide the status bar, and there is navigation immersion, which will hide the navigation bar.
8. There is a reset button to disable immersion entirely.
9. It doesn't use accessibility (which slows down the phone).
10. This app may not be compatible for all phones, but it SHOULD work for Android OS 4.
1. But I wish there were a bit more options like along with Blocklist, there was another option (whitelist) which only lets us hide statusbar/navbar only for specific app (and the list also include system apps) because I'm trying to hide statusbar on homescreen only and it becomes tedious to put all other apps in Blocklist and also we can't add system apps on Blocklist, so no statusbar for system apps that don't appear in the apps list. This is an awesome app!! I got tired of the navigation bar being suck on screen even while playing videos.
2. is that something that currently has an option or is that something that maybe can be looked into? other than that i love the appI didn't think it would be so convenient! I have used immersive mode using a tasker plugin but it also hid the navigation buttons and keyboard, which makes it a painful experience.
3. I do like that the keyboard seems to work when its on, unlike other similar apps.Does exactly what it says - enables system-wide immersive mode with ease.
4. It's just one step from being a perfect app.Definitely a 5 star app in the making, does what it intends to do be removed the tedious on be off toggle for the keyboard like in other apps.
5. Although I think that you should implement a whitelist so at least we can show status bar on the home screen. This app works flawlessly with my phone, needed to use pc just to enable write permissions to the settings on Android and then it started working.
6. And plz read the description before downloading.Want to rate it higher but it Only works in portrait mode - when in landscape (rotated or locked) it doesn't work at all.
7. In other apps I tried it will just hide navigation buttons but there will be still a black bar at the bottom.
8. Almost perfect... on my Note 9, when in split screen with the hidden status bar option i can still see the notification icons if i have any.
9. 💯🤘🏼 *Since updating to android 11, I've read that you can no longer run adb commands, but I've read about being able to run them using WiFi instead of plugging phone in.
10. I'm using this app to prevent burn in which is why further screen cropping would be even better for things like removing social media buttons.Good app.
11. One thing that I'd love to have added is the ability to crop the screen even further by selecting parts of the screen that you want to black out.
