Why should I report an Issue with AppLock?

1. So, I have to choose between locking an app and not being able to open it when I need my phone to stay silent or keeping an app unlocked because I need to be able to access it any time.I only gave it 2 stars because, I had this app downloaded for YEARS.

2. I still had good memories of this app, so I considered going premium, only to discover that instead of a one-time pay like the earlier plugin, I would have to shell out $20 a year for a premium version full of stuff I don't want.

3. I needed to find an app to lock away my Ring app, because my daughter was getting on my phone and seeing gifts and such (things she did not need to see) that I was bringing home.

4. Everything is working again, but the updated version is much more invasive with its ads, including allowing sounds to play and no way to mute them.

6. It will play an Ad after every single thing you do which it didn't before & once the Ad plays it kicks you out & sends you to play store to install it.

7. I would like to see a "quick lock" button where all apps can all be locked simultaneously with the one tap of the button.

8. Lost everythingSometimes the app doesn't lock selected apps even though they're selected.

9. Heaven forbid I want to move a file out of the safe, because then the app plays a video ad that takes me to the appstore when I try to click past it.

10. Unfortunately I won't be using it anymore as I just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S23 and the loud video ads that pop every time I unlock an app is simply too much.

1. Fix AppLock Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AppLock: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AppLock App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AppLock" » Open AppLock » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AppLock » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AppLock app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AppLock servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AppLock" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AppLock app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AppLock might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AppLock. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AppLock then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AppLock not working

2. Fix AppLock Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AppLock be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AppLock not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AppLock may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
