Why should I report an Issue with Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out?

1. The messaging has gotten worse, my messages will just fail to send 20% of the time, the text channels in the voice channels (???) as well as the topic inside of the channels only serve to confuse the user, and I don't have enough characters to talk about the USERNAME CHANGE.New layout is absolute trash.

This issue is fixed temporarily by closing the app or rotating the screen, but I really don't want to have to deal with this inconvenience in the first place.Love using it to make new friends, host events, talk to old friends, etc! Pretty easy to tell where things are, pleasing to look at in app.

3. The new version has four buttons at the bottom, each of which causes extra work to get to where you want, only showing your four most recent servers, and adding an additional step to get to the others.

4. The UI has been updated to be clunkier, overlays often overlap, the search bars require several taps to use (if they work at all) and all of the smooth transitions between tabs have been replaced with jarring "click" type transitions.

5. The layout was fine before, and the similarity to the desktop layout was great for usability, so why change it? Change for the sake of change...I've used this as an app on mobile and on my pc regularly since 2018, and it's just gotten worse and worse.

6. The channels within each server are reworked terribly as well.Discord has been great for the last 2-3 years but lately it's been acting up.

7. Super annoying, everything else works fine though.I would like to report a glitch that has been prevalent in multiple versions for roughly half of the year.

8. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the headphones, I've switched to the phone speakers and back to the Bluetooth and that didn't work either, nothing works.

11. Here's an example that's been happening to me, whenever I try using the app it goes well, then cuts to a white screen with a black logo and disconnects me from the app.

1. Fix Discord Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Discord: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Discord App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Discord" » Open Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Discord » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Discord servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Discord app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Discord might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Discord. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Discord then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Discord not working

2. Fix Discord Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Discord be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Discord not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Discord may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
