1. Points of Interest: Touch a curve to show its maximum and minimum values, intercepts, and points of intersection with other curves.
2. The special “ans” key always holds the value of the previous computation (and updates automatically! ), so you never have to remember or copy a result.
3. Arithmetic: Beyond the four basic operations, the scientific calculator also supports exponentiation, radicals, absolute value, logarithms, rounding, and percentages.
4. Since all of your work is held in the expressions list, you can compute a value once and use it in many places simultaneously.
5. Zooming: Scale the axes independently or at the same time with the pinch of two fingers, or edit the window size manually to get the perfect view of your graph.
6. Sliders: Adjust values interactively to build intuition, or animate any parameter to visualize its effect on the graph.
7. Multiple Expressions: Unlike many four-function calculators, all of your previous work remains visible on the screen.
8. Statistics: Compute the mean and standard deviation (sample or population) of a list of data.
9. **BETA** Not intended for use in a high-stakes environment yet. ** These are restricted versions of the Desmos Calculators that comply with exam requirements.
10. There’s no limit to how many expressions you can graph at one time—and you don’t even need to enter expressions in y= form!
11. Statistics: Use regressions to find the lines (or other curves! ) that best fit your data.
1. So it would be very helpful if you could add these functions to the calculator as well. It's very helpful for checking answers but please don't use this to do your work because somethings might not line up with how you're learning things. This is the moment Desmos turned into Test mode and tested all over the placeTest mode was unavailable and was unable to access it after deleting and re-downloading the app.Very helpful, I can't deal with my graph calculator.
2. Desmos save me this semester in my college algebra class. My phone blew up in the middle of class and made me fail all my finals.
3. Though I have to use it for online classes, the trig functions like cosine and sine graphs are not correct.
4. Thanks! I really appreciate the existence of this app!The grapher has many functions that the calculator does not have, which is really strange.
5. They show as a line that is slightly up going to 1 or slightly down going to 0 but not as the curve that what a cosine and sine function should be.
6. Overall not a bad app to useHello! I noticed a bug that isn't present on the regular desmos app and the original browser based version.
7. Also why the keyboard for letters had to be in alphabetical order and not in the default type of keyboard that everyone knows and uses.
8. This app is very useless and makes ur phone explode.
9. -1(sin(x)) it seems give an incorrect readout.
