1. Using our powerful and blazingly-fast math engine, the calculator can instantly plot any equation, from lines and parabolas up through derivatives and Fourier series.
2. At Desmos, we imagine a world of universal math literacy and envision a world where math is accessible and enjoyable for all students.
3. Zooming: Scale the axes independently or at the same time with the pinch of two fingers, or edit the window size manually to get the perfect window.
4. Points of Interest: Touch a curve to show maximums, minimums, and points of intersection.
5. Scientific Calculator: Just type in any equation you want to solve and Desmos will show you the answer.
6. There’s no limit to how many expressions you can graph at one time - and you don’t even need to enter expressions in y= form!
7. To achieve this vision, we’ve started by building the next generation of the graphing calculator.
8. Graphing: Plot polar, cartesian, or parametric graphs.
9. Inequalities: Plot cartesian and polar inequalities.
10. Hold and drag along a curve to see the coordinates change under your finger.
11. Tap the gray points of interest to see their coordinates.
1. Aside from that, it's a great tool that's free of charge and free of ads, which is unfortunately a rarity nowa㍲ys.This is an advanced calculator that you'd pay alot of money for to do math assignments for classes, except that it's simpler to use, has different graphing methods up for you to simply plug in and give you the answer, allows you different colored and textured lines to distinguish your functions, graphs instantly, allows you to zoom in and out pretty much infinitely.....so in almost every way, it's better than a calculator you could get in a store and pay over $100 for, except this is free.As a whole, this app/website is amazing for me, I can visualize the general data given on a homework assignment.
2. PLEASE change it back so that one can scroll laterally through an equation on a given line!! This makes plugging different numbers into the same formula so much easier! For longer formulas, when the end of the formula is off of the screen, and not being able to swipe to the end, there is a high probability of hitting the clear line (x) button when trying to plug new numbers in to the end of a given formula!!I love this app.
3. This app is really handy: it's powerful enough to use for basically any math class requiring graphing functions, and a lot of fun to play around with! There are some frustrating design oversights though.
4. The most glaring to me being that you can't (or at least I can't) scroll longer functions to edit them, and it's basically impossible to tap the edge of it to bring it into view without deleting the whole thing.
5. The only reason it's 4 stars ㏌stead of 5 is because the function ㏌put boxes don't allow copy/paste since it doesn't use the natⅳe keyboard (though this is probably un㏌tentional), which limits iʦ usability.
6. The calculator is quite powerful and is able to carry out select calculations that Wolfram Alpha has trouble doing, like definite integrals.
7. It might be nice to have an option to use the integrated Android keyboard, since it has bigger keys (no gaps between them!) and just looks nicer.
8. Greek, Old High German & letter-like unicode math symbols would be nice.Seems to work offline, as it should.
9. It didn't do that before, and I don't know why it changed, but I would definitely rate higher if I could switch it back to horizontally split with the viewing window.Awesome, both on app and website.
10. For some reason, my expression list is vertically aligned, and it competes with my viewing window in such a narrow space.
11. All the calculator functions are neatly foldered.
I'm trying to find a phone number to call and make a payment for our invoice #3300. Our middle school is trying to use the site and can not until we pay.
