DatPiff Customer Insights
1. I cant choose certain songs to download, now I'm forced to download an entire 100 track album when I only want maybe 10 or 15 songs, what a waste of memory.
2. Is this something only android users are dealing with?I don't know what's going on with this app but for the last 2 years this app has gone completely trash, here's why the music takes too long to load or play, So half the time you're listening to silence or the song.
3. Please fix the app!I've been listening to mixtapes on piff since 2010 and is a pretty cool app overall, the only issue I have with them and is a significant one, is that they will out of the blue delete your favorite Saved Playlist which is not ok.
4. This can be annoying becuase they can play after every two songs and sometimes you can't skip them.You would think the creater of the app would change back because of all the user reviews basically saying change it back.
5. When spent time over months and years building a Playlist it's extremely frustrating to log on one day and realize it's been deleted.
6. I've been a member since 2010 and have never had any problems until recently 1) some songs don't play.
7. Dude I use to app all the time to listen to the lastest music...what the hell did you guys do to it?????? I don't like the new version it's horrible.
8. 2) I can't download some mixtapes: there's mixtapes that have the download icon but nothing happens, or it says download but never does.
9. You can't see all the songs in the What's Hot section, and I can no longer download individual songs.
10. I just recently installed it to a new phone so I could download some mixtapes for offline use.
11. There's no points of downloading the song if it's not gonna play correctly, Over the years this app has just had too many bugs and glitches.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DatPiff Issues
1. Fix DatPiff Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart DatPiff: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the DatPiff App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DatPiff" » Open DatPiff - Mixtapes & Music » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DatPiff » click "UPDATE".
- Clear DatPiff - Mixtapes & Music app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DatPiff servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DatPiff - Mixtapes & Music" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check DatPiff app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DatPiff might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall DatPiff. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DatPiff then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DatPiff not working
2. Fix DatPiff Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DatPiff be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DatPiff not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DatPiff may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I'm can't log into my account. I can add songs or download anything. I use to be able to log in with the datpiff website. But the only way now is the app. Please help. My mixtapes are under the name Bama mr 16 bars. I forgot my username name and password. It doesn't work on the app.

Hello, I have been trying to get my username so I can login to my account I've followed the steps an it's been over an hour an nothing. I've already uploaded mixtapes on there an they are called Motivation 1,2 & 3. I uploaded M3 like a few years back I have another mixtape that needs to be released an I can't get into my account. I hold the 'right to erasure' under the GDPR. There will be a fine for non-compliance of $7,500 if you do not remove my account and it's information including my email address and password
