For that reason, I assign it 4 stars instead of 5.It's good but 10 splits isn't often enough, if they could extend to more than ten this would really help, specially for Facebook and Instagram stories, also I have noticed quite a drop of quality in the vids after the splits, other than that this app is great but those two tweaks would absolutely make this a 5 star leading app.Terrible. Wanted to split my 4.20 video into 5 videos under 60sec for instagram.

2. I'm assuming the ad at the top of the page is covering a necessary button if this app was ever designed to work in the first place.The Split Video app has high utility and has enabled me to post various gym workout form/technique videos on my Instagram Story.

3. And if it is there without instructions how to choose KEEP, that is even worseI click select video, which opens a screen that shows any media folders that contain videos, but won't select/open any of the folders.

4. This was the 6th video editor in a row that had zero instructions and kept trying to delete the parts I wanted to keep and delete the parts I wanted to delete.

5. Don't waste your time.On clicking "Select video" it pulls up a menu and allows for folder selection, but never opens the folder and there is no way to proceed forward.

6. went through carefully selecting the times for the splitting, exported, and it gave me 5 eight second videos from the very last part of my video.

7. I tried using it, but there was no instruction just two buttons that I presumed to be self explanatory, but had no real meaning to them.This app wouldn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S10.

8. Is it so hard to clip 10 seconds out of a video where some jackass walked across the frame? Come on, APP developers.

9. However, sometimes it can be peppered with so many advertisements that impede its time efficiency.

10. And I saw 6 different ads in less than a minute...disappointed AND annoyed.

11. So I'm uninstalling after attempting a couple more times.

1. Fix Split Video Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Split Video: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Split Video App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Split Video" » Open Split Video » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Split Video » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Split Video app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Split Video servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Split Video" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Split Video app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Split Video might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Split Video. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Split Video then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Split Video not working

2. Fix Split Video Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Split Video be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Split Video not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Split Video may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
