About DriveWell Go™

3. The app shows you trip summaries, details on maneuvers, and gives you useful feedback to become a better driver.

4. It uses low-power sensing methods to reduce battery consumption.

5. DriveWell Go runs in the background and uses GPS.

6. It also acts a low-power logger of all of your driving trips.

7. This version of the application supports the DriveWell Tag device.

8. The DriveWell tag requires a bluetooth connection.

9. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

10. By linking seamlessly with the smartphone app, the tag accurately calculates vehicle maneuvers.

DriveWell Go Customer Insights

1. There have been times where the app considers me as speeding if I drop my phone or even when its sitting on a FREAKING TABLE! I dont know who designed this garbage but you need to work on the idea of a "Im not driving mode" because this app is always running in the background saying "recording your drive" even when Im in the bathoom.Standing still in a damn building and it starts recording "my trip".

2. The formula should be either speed warning = app speed +2 or speed warning > app speed +2Trash app, I went jogging and it stil considered me as "driving" but didnt notify me that it was registering me as "speeding" while I jogged for a whole morning.

3. Does not work well and is terrible at actually tracking speed or phone usage which is half of what the app claims to do.

4. I use my phone to change my destination or use auto response when I'm parked in car line picking up my kids, it logs it against me and I lose a star.

5. The phone this app is installed on wasn't touched all day and it showed only 2 out of 16 trips it wasn't touched.

6. I'm going to uninstall.The speed function needs to be tied to either Google maps or Apple's version.

7. I use my phone for work and have to be aware when I get not.

8. Getting alerted for doing the posted speed is quite annoying.

9. If you sit in your parked car and are on your phone, it will mark off for phone use.

11. There is also no way to set the app to Passenger mode, meaning you have to fully log out or wait until the trip is complete to label it as a Passenger trip.I'm not impressed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DriveWell Go Issues

1. Fix DriveWell Go Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DriveWell Go: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DriveWell Go App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DriveWell Go" » Open DriveWell Go™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DriveWell Go » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DriveWell Go™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DriveWell Go servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DriveWell Go™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DriveWell Go app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DriveWell Go might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DriveWell Go. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DriveWell Go then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DriveWell Go not working


2. Fix DriveWell Go Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DriveWell Go be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DriveWell Go not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DriveWell Go may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
