1. It's irritating because you lose money and time; and when you try to call the courier, they won't be reachable, even the bolt agents fail to contact them because the phone will be off.As many people mentioned the consistent deals are great but the app is ruined by the drivers and support team and how impossible it is to manage them.

2. At the same time it kept giving instructions to the caterer, courier, ... which was frustrating because i placed the wrong order.Ordered a parfait via the app (fruits2go) and made sure to pick one without raisins as I'm allergic.

3. From parfait to hospital, terrible customer service.Worst app to order! They might lure you to order through this app just because they have discounts, but the delivery drivers are always late and the food arrives cold.

4. Two consistent problemd Bolt refuses to fix (and the reason for the 2-star rating) is couriers making other deliveries while carrying your food, and couriers accepting jobs from really far away, adding a bunch of time to your delivery.

5. This must also be frustrating for restaurants keeping our food.Immediately after placing an order I wanted to cancel the order and the bolt app simply didn't provide me any way of doing this.

6. Customer service is also bad they are short off and rude and don't help at all and just waste your time.The quality of delivery has been deteriorating with each order I place.

7. NO REFUNDS , they simply keep your money within the app so you can order again.Don't install this app the services is the worse most of the time my whole order doesn't arrive or some items and when they actually deliver it's the wrong items.

8. Like what is the actual heck with you? I get delivered botched food and I complain about it in the review and they specifically ask to go to support section, but it's not there! There are a lot of good things to be said about the app, with shiny interface and all, but get the basic functionality first, and add the bells and whistles later.

This is how it's done in any proper development environmentGiving it a 3 star because I've had ny fair share of good experiences with the app but I've had times where the drivers come to the location but then they don't deliver, even when the instructions state that the driver should meet me at the reception.

  3. Clear Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bolt Food servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Bolt Food app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bolt Food might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Bolt Food. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bolt Food then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bolt Food not working


2. Fix Bolt Food Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bolt Food be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bolt Food not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bolt Food may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi, tonight I have ordered 2 Salads and one chips from Mac Donalds through Bolt
    When the food arrived my son went down to pay Cash and we received only the chips but the sales no The driver charged my son 22.50
    It called him and he said that he already complained to customer care Bolt but after few minutes we received refund only 10.75
    Want to mention that the 2 salads costed me 17.50 so we are still missing 6.75 euros
    Can you please send the rest of the refund?

  • Hello ii ordered food sometime bk paid for it and today I log in try to order something they telling me I have to pay R75 which I gave that driver that money on that day.. no driver was going to give me food without paying

  • Can't verify app using SMS, I am using your app for long time now, and now I am stuck out of it, Can't log in qnymore.

    my Phone is: +972- 509455535

    it told me to wait for SMS to arrive, and it never did (since about 2 Days Ago)

    and now it doesn't Allow me to use my number, claiming I need to erase zero or something, please contact me Asap in whatssap if needed
