1. this app has a nice small footprint on my phone it would be perfect if there was a second button on screen all the time option to pause the recording without having to go in pull up all four Icons and then hit the pause button and then to restart it you have to go in and do the same process it's too much that would make it perfectHonestly, I'm impressed! It's not hard to activate this, just a simple tap then bam! The only problems I have is 1), when I wanna screen record for some apps, it disappears.

2. But when im recording a video there is a little watermark that I kinda wish wouldnt't be in the video... But other than that, this is a perfect screen recorder :)It's a great app and all.

3. And it doesn't watermark your videos too! However, sometimes the screen recorder will shut itself off (randomly), or the audio keeps getting corrupted, and sometimes it'll lag for no reason.

4. Love it so far! But the reason I'm giving this a 4 star is because in the middle of me recording, the recorder randomly dissappears and it doesn't save my recording after I've been recording for 30 minutes.

5. Overall, great app!Not too useful for what I need... I downloaded this app because it promised the ability to record internal audio.

6. Whenever a refresh of the video folder is done (resetting the sort order or entering the saved Videos folder, etc) that refresh takes a very long time.

7. Any help would be useful as I can't find any information online about this.ADV Screen Recorder does just that and it does it well.

9. So I say a 3 star.This is very well done they thought of most everything the option to make the on-screen button opaque is a really good addition to some others I've seen.

11. Please add to your update and icon in the screens floating bubble the choice for the camera click for screen pictures.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ADV Screen Recorder Issues

1. Fix ADV Screen Recorder Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ADV Screen Recorder: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ADV Screen Recorder App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ADV Screen Recorder" » Open ADV Screen Recorder » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ADV Screen Recorder » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ADV Screen Recorder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ADV Screen Recorder servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ADV Screen Recorder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ADV Screen Recorder app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ADV Screen Recorder might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ADV Screen Recorder. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ADV Screen Recorder then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ADV Screen Recorder not working


2. Fix ADV Screen Recorder Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ADV Screen Recorder be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ADV Screen Recorder not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ADV Screen Recorder may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
