1. Otherwise it is a pretty awesome app!I downloaded to help me find and sustain specific notes in singing, and as an aid in expanding range in the baritone range of my voice this is very helpful, but the app doesnt seem to be able to detect anything lower than E2 in my voice or piano, and I have been known to hit a C2 as my lowest note on good days.
2. When I downloaded the "updated" version where they got rid of the mic permission now it won't register any instrument no matter how close or loud I play. This has been a 5-star app for me, but I have to delete a star because it's stopped working 😠I've just upgraded my mobile phone to a Samsung Note 10+.
3. For a dedicated Baritone or Tenor voice this might actually be a helpful tool, but for me to use in expanding my bass range the lower range needs to be expanded significantly. If the microphone doesn't work, go to settings for apps, and give permission for this app to use it.
4. It was easy to use and super helpful for me not to remember how to transpose which instrument I was playing at the moment, it would just tell me the note for the instrument.
5. I'll bet they are tearing out hair trying to fix this!Doesn't Work on Pixel 3? - I've used Bandmate for a few years now, but on my new phone, it doesn't respond to sound.
6. (Other tuner apps i have work just fine.)All looked good, it only asked for access to the microphone.
7. However, this one allowed him to choose his instrument and it picked up immediately which note he was attempting and allowed him to tune it just right.
8. We tried other tuners and they kept saying he was playing completely different notes.
9. I play multiple instruments (as do most musicians I know)—and the instruments I wanted to tune (guitar, banjo, mandolin) weren't even in the list.
10. 5 stars again, although it would have been nice to get some product support.Won't work with Android 9.0 update.
11. But the notes I play do not register on the tuning dial anymore.
