1. But it makes it useless for my needs.Recent update fixed issue I was having with sounds cutting off when screen turned off! Works great now! Will give 5 stars and pay for Android Wear app companion and compatibility with touch controls on Bluetooth devices to turn on and off listening/recording.

2. Great job with the last update! Thanks! 🙏this software is garbage!!!! first it tells you to install headphones or there is feedback, tried it, and it was stuck in a feedback loop, i couldn't turn it off until i went back to the program, exiting the program wasn't enough.

3. the sound everything makes, I don't wear hearing aids and I guess I kind of forgot what the world sounded like without being sounding 10 miles awayI tried 5 other "super hearing\spy" apps, all with fancy settings and all jam packed with ads.

4. Still, a strong 3 stars borderline 4, and if big gets fixed and the 5 min wait removed... 5 stars easy.The app is great except I have to use the mic on my phone which isn't ideal.

5. Also, the ability to turn on and off feedback so you can record without headphones and a way to sync recordings with the cloud would turn this into my daily driver for audio recordings.

6. When run with mild gain (so you can hear both direct and boosted) there is a noticeable lag (latency) which may be intrinsic to Android sound.

7. one would think it should have a feedback canceller of some kind, not everyone owns headphones.App is awesome! BUT I HATE THE 5 MINUTE WAIT.

8. From the sound being all the way turned off, I barely turned it up and I could hear the difference, I had an itch on my leg, i had both ear buds in and i could my scratch my leg thru my ear buds.

9. This is extremely frustrating on my screen (LGL43AL): far too small for fingers!! A sub-screen lets you pick center frequency and Q, but the range is too large for my fat fingers and it "slides" from 2000Hz to 14567Hz with imperceptible motion.

10. Paid $2 to remove the "Wait...". It always starts at minimum gain, which does nothing.

11. But the biggest thing I noticed while using the app was that for devices using bluetooth it wouldn't pull audio from it but instead the phone itself.

1. Fix Hear Boost Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hear Boost: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hear Boost App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hear Boost" » Open Hear Boost: Recording Ear Aid » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hear Boost » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hear Boost: Recording Ear Aid app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hear Boost servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hear Boost: Recording Ear Aid" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hear Boost app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hear Boost might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hear Boost. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hear Boost then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hear Boost not working

2. Fix Hear Boost Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hear Boost be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hear Boost not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hear Boost may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
