SYMAGIX Customer Insights

1. No details, no list of available wifi devices... uselessMy phone (Galaxy S8) will not connect to the camera's Wifi.

2. My phone picks up the wifi cam but the app does not.hi I jus purchased the rebel, is this app compatible with it? The wifi doesnt connect.

3. If I want to watch the videos and pictures I made, I can download them to my phone and watch them from the Galery app.This program tries to force you to give it access to your contacts and phone, which it doesn't need.

4. You have to forget every other available WiFi in order to connect to the camera.

5. If you don't give it the access you then get a lying message that the app was written for an older version than what ever your device has.Another app that is supposedly able to control the action cam I have that doesn't work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SYMAGIX Issues

1. Fix SYMAGIX Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SYMAGIX: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SYMAGIX App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SYMAGIX" » Open SYMAGIX » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SYMAGIX » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SYMAGIX app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SYMAGIX servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SYMAGIX" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SYMAGIX app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SYMAGIX might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SYMAGIX. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SYMAGIX then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SYMAGIX not working


2. Fix SYMAGIX Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SYMAGIX be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SYMAGIX not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SYMAGIX may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
