1. I understand that it's still a work in progress - it may sometimes misinterpret large print items as the Issuer of the receipt, for example show the individual store (Apex) as the Company name (Costco), but that kind of wrinkle will be worked out soon, I think. This is great! I used to go straight into Google Drive to scan & save, but this app is so much quicker! And it categorizes for me, but lets me override if I need to.
2. Or you could dynamically change things: if the user hits the '+' button once, indicating that they have a second page to scan, then automatically keep them in camera mode after each additional scan.I love this app.
3. It greatly simplifies the process of capturing records of receipts, cleanly aligned and trimmed, and even stored to my Google Drive, with just a couple of button presses.
4. If you at Google tell me a secret way to request a change, it's better for everyone if it's secret to you, and not a public critique?I use the app to scan receipts and track expenses when I am on work trip.
5. So I'll try it again in a year or so and see if it either 1) has additional features and improved auto-crop or 2) has been retired into the Google Graveyard.Scans appear a bit dark, which is expected from mobile camera.
6. However any additional pages I add to the document are not synced to drive.Works well, I use it with full permissions, so it can pick out important documents as they come in, like in an email.
7. So far, I've added owner's manuals, and recipes.I really like how the title auto-populates based on OCR! Some requests: please allow for changing the image settings for all the images that have been scanned with a single button tap.
8. More feedback: it would be great to not have to hit the '+' button to add a new page to a pending document.
9. If I create a document close it and then try to open it right after to edit the cropping of an image it doesn't allow me.
10. Of course, for single page uploads, that means the user would have to take one extra tap to exit 'camera mode' after the first page.
11. Otherwise I love this app as a digital file cabinet, instead of searching for files by name that I never remember, I can find them by doc type, like a true file cabinet.Ok for the basics and free.
