1. Can't get by location promptHorrible app... Who wants an app that they follow cities just to see who died? This isn't an obituary TEMPLATE app for those of us who have better things to do with our time instead of following a city to look at their obituaries... This is ridiculous! -0 & ¹/2 stars but I had to give a star just to warn peopleTakes a long time to load.

It might be a good app but too many strings attached.No good because they didn't find Denver Colorado on their listOBITUARY=THIS REALLY IS NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO FIND SOMEONE I ONCE KNEW:BUT,IT HAS HAPPENED 🌹🌹🙏🙏.GONE,BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN💙🌹🙏🙏Works fairly well when you set the cities you want to follow.

3. This app needs a very current update to be worth its salt! Perhaps the reason she wasn't listed is because the app's last update was November 29, 2022.

4. I selected her town but she wasn't listed and her obituary was in all the local papers, including other of my listed cities.

5. I didn't realize it was going to require me to create an account and agree to pages of legal mumbo jumbo, privacy policy and whatnot.

6. I wish there was a way to filter out all the pet obits! Update: contacted developer, and still have to wade through all of the pet of obituaries!Uploaded the app, input 3 cities.

7. There might have been an option to use a Facebook account but I don't need another service tied to that company either.

8. My sister died in December, 2022.Uninstalled before using it.

10. That app has been "loading obituaries" now for over 30 minutes.

1. Fix The Obituary App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart The Obituary App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the The Obituary App App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "The Obituary App" » Open The Obituary App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for The Obituary App » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear The Obituary App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from The Obituary App servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The Obituary App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check The Obituary App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The Obituary App might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall The Obituary App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The Obituary App then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing The Obituary App not working

2. Fix The Obituary App Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make The Obituary App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to The Obituary App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, The Obituary App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
