Chic Me Customer Insights

1. I opened a case with Afterpay and still the same lies about being shipped! Avoid this one like the plague unless you enjoy being robbed of your hard earned money!I dont know if I am the only one experiencing this issue, but for more than two weeks now I have been unable to log into my real account via the mobile app.

2. When I reached out to them to return the items they told me that the shipping fees to return the items was too expensive (they never told me the actual cost) that instead they could offer me a 10% refund and I could keep the items.

3. I log out to go back in and then it says that I've been locked out due to too many attempts to log in!!!!! What?!! I have an order that has been "in transit" for over 4 WEEKS! At least it's finally in the US.

4. They will claim the items have been shipped and tracking has not been updated.

5. I have only order a couple of times and two times now i have to exchange items because of inventory issues.

6. However, after you place your order it stays in "outbound in sorting" for a month, literally! Their support is a joke.

7. I ordered, my order stayed in processing 1 month before any movement.

8. Tried to contact them to return the Items, they take so long to answer you and give you only 14 days to return, and you have to pay for it.

9. A lot of the photos look photoshoped to show of different colors or just photoshopped on in general not really showing us the true product which make it hard to tell how the product really is.

10. Some of the clothes was good material while others are smaller than actual size.

11. Easy to find what you're looking for exactly.I like the clothes and i havent had a bad experience with customer service.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Chic Me Issues

1. Fix Chic Me Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Chic Me: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Chic Me App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Chic Me" » Open Chic Me - Chic in Command » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Chic Me » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Chic Me - Chic in Command app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Chic Me servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Chic Me - Chic in Command" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Chic Me app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Chic Me might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Chic Me. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Chic Me then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Chic Me not working


2. Fix Chic Me Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Chic Me be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Chic Me not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Chic Me may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
