Why should I report an Issue with Showcaller: Caller ID & Block?

1. How do I fix this? Otherwise I need to drop rating to 1 star and delete the app! EDIT: It took even LONGER after I typed this! EIGHT SECONDS staring at the intro screen when I tried to open app to make a call! I dropped rating to 1 star; wish I could leave ZERO stars.

2. - - No choice but to give the app a minimum rating.This app works on this device Huawei POT-LX1AF but why is there no recorder setting because none of my calls are recorded and bringing this to the attention of the developers not solving the problem.

3. - - I tried this app once before a couple of years ago, in which it would block numbers I had marked as safe, but I heard it had been fixed, so I thought I would try it out one more time... But unfortunately the constant beeping every 5 seconds almost drove me nuts.

4. As soon as I installed Showcaller, my Contact List which is comprehensive, switched in alphabetical order from surname to the first name, making the contact list useless.

5. Overall this app is still going strong as usual, but without the record feature, I may have to find another app that can do that as well as block calls and identify id callers.

6. As good as the concept is, I'd recommend you stay away from this appCauses phone (Moto Z2) to beep twice every 5 seconds during phone calls.

7. Ive also have other calls disconnected when an incoming call comes in, even if i decline the incoming call.

8. I tried it.Would give it 5 stars except it causes me to drop my current call when a blocked number tries to call in.

9. I can't wait for a fix to this problem of dropping the call I'm already on when a blocked number tries to call.

10. I was able to find no way to restore the contact list back in alphabetical order by surname.

11. The "startup screen" or whatever you call the very first screen when you open the app takes WAY TOO LONG.

1. Fix Showcaller Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Showcaller: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Showcaller App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Showcaller" » Open Showcaller: Caller ID & Block » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Showcaller » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Showcaller: Caller ID & Block app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Showcaller servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Showcaller: Caller ID & Block" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Showcaller app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Showcaller might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Showcaller. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Showcaller then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Showcaller not working

2. Fix Showcaller Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Showcaller be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Showcaller not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Showcaller may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
