ActiveHealth Customer Insights

1. Now that this is the third year doing it I'm quite bored.Weight tracker is ridiculous! It shows a graph in 70 lb increments starting at ZERO!!! If you lose even 50 lbs, it still only changes the graph an infinitesimal amount - basically showing that you pretty much haven't accomplished anything! This is an app pushed by government employers and a massive insurance company.

2. What a joke.Works half the time, most of the healthy lifestyle information on it never updates and it dosen't connect to anything samsung so you cant actually track your data without inputting in manually.

3. App automatically adds parentheses all over the place and enters numbers out of order.I really want to like it, but it keeps closing every time I attempt to connect to my fitness trackers.Cannot log on, it continually kicks me off, then logs me off.

4. I really hope my employer does away with this joke of a health and wellness program and goes back to go365.Trying to connect my Fitbit App.

5. I can't type in a phone number without the field following with random symbols and when I copy paste it doesn't recognize there's anything there.

6. Hire some freaking programmers to copy and paste some code from other similar apps that do a way better job at encouraging weight management.Your app sucks.

7. Which, works very slow if it even works at all.Cannot enter phone number during registration even though it's required.

8. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed this while introducing another error... After every single coaching activity, when you claim "20 hearts", the app restarts and you're back to the log in screen.

9. You get a discount on your health insurance for reaching a certain level on the coaching.

10. Quick, positive interactions.I'm looking through reviews and see people with the same issues as mine and the support misinterpreting the problems.

11. Doesn't sync with Samsung health.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ActiveHealth Issues

1. Fix ActiveHealth Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ActiveHealth: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ActiveHealth App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ActiveHealth" » Open ActiveHealth » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ActiveHealth » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ActiveHealth app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ActiveHealth servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ActiveHealth" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ActiveHealth app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ActiveHealth might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ActiveHealth. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ActiveHealth then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ActiveHealth not working


2. Fix ActiveHealth Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ActiveHealth be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ActiveHealth not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ActiveHealth may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
