The latest update really seemed to throw a wrench into the spokes for several days.Gives good information on what's going on with the roads, but I paid for the 1 year subscription and it does not send me any notifications as it did the couple weeks after I paid, the notification just stopped I hope they fix the problem before my subscription expires cause I will not renew, I do suggest the free version for when you are going to travel it still give good accurate infoCARR is so helpful in my winter travels, it shows me chain requirements, road incidents, my favorite the highway cameras (so I can check for snow), and much more.

2. I like how you can read CHP incident notes, this is the most up to date you can get.Looks like the recent issues have been resolved now, and this great app is back to all its glory (5 stars).

11. Upon initia install I experienced problems with the subscription notifications.

1. Fix Cali Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Cali: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Cali App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cali" » Open California Road Report » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cali » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear California Road Report app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cali servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "California Road Report" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Cali app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cali might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Cali. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cali then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cali not working

2. Fix Cali Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cali be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cali not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cali may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
