Auto Club Customer Insights

1. Extremely annoying app but at least you can go in and edit when you're not the driver and it mistakes their bad driving for yours.... And it's only for 6 months!! I find it hilarious... That I constantly have to go in and edit my short trip to work because it keeps telling me it was not a car!! Well it wasn't an airplane!! My new mantra it's only 6 months it's only 6 months !! Can't wait to uninstall.I use this app for paying my insurance, which is really convenient.

2. If I'm driving and my phone falls out of my seat to the floor it'll get flagged for speeding or hard braking. The app interferes with my using other apps even though I sitting in a parking lot or in my own house.

3. I'm sick of it and I'm calling them tomorrow for the other option, which won't kill my battery and only tracks my driving.Downloaded this for the 15% discount on insurance.

4. If I keep it on the dash or on the cup holder or the charging space, where the phone can easily move while driving (turning or slowly stopping at the stop sign), the app considers that as a hard stop.

5. This is the second most annoying part, because every time you take an uber or ride with a friend, you have to remember to log in and tell the app you weren't driving, otherwise you are penalized if their driving is poor.

6. When I open the trip overview, I notice multiple "hard braking" events clustered in one spot, and sometimes over what look like tens of feet! Until this is fixed, the snooping isn't worth it.

7. I'm not sure if it was a recent update or whatever but every trip I make gets flagged with hard braking.

8. Although I am not flagged for hard breaking or speeding, my score is 80??The issue that most people are having with the hard braking flag is accurate.

9. it's getting worse!! After about a week of no events and supposedly score should go back up but instead it went down 3 points?? Really?? Changing to 0 star!!I use it for the AAA OnBoard program... if this is suggested to you GET THE PHYSICAL DEVICE INSTEAD.

10. If I keep the phone in the pocket while driving, it's ok.

11. Finally, it seems I get penalized for NOT driving or driving short distances.
