I would love to have the option back, or at least an option to choose what type of file I can download a picture as.So I was very skeptical about this app, downloaded it on a whim because ADM couldn't recognize or isolate an MP4 to download, pasted the URL on this app and the red arrow shook immediately.

2. May work by clicking share and selecting the app, when this option is available, however, when it isn't, but has a share link or the page itself, it's still easy to paste it into this app, a chrome like browser and click the download button.

3. It is worth the ad free upgrade but if you can't do that it is still better than 95% of other downloader apps.. It won't let you download direct to SD but it is easy enough to transfer MP4 and PNG files.

4. Don't rule it out as a backup downloader though.I've downloaded a lot of videos using this app, but, while cleaning my files, quite a few have come up unable to play, also telling me that nothing I have can open the file.

5. It's unfortunate since this is my go-to app for downloading files.I download a lot of stuff and I have tried numerous downloader apps and I find this app.

6. Though the new update took away an option that I used most of the time where I was able to press and hold a picture to download it as a jpg instead of a png.

8. There's no way to change the download location, at least not that I've seen, and have never seen the option for SD card switch as depicted in screenshot.

10. I've had no problems before this issue, five stars; this problem not only removes that rating and removes those stars, the next step will be removing this app if I can't depend on it.This is by far my favorite app to videos, and pictures without issues.

11. You can't change the download destination, the default file naming convention is awful.

1. Fix Video Downloader Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Video Downloader: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Video Downloader App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Video Downloader" » Open Video Downloader » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Video Downloader » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Video Downloader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Video Downloader servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Video Downloader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Video Downloader app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Video Downloader might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Video Downloader. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Video Downloader then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Video Downloader not working

2. Fix Video Downloader Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Video Downloader be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Video Downloader not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Video Downloader may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
