Why should I report an Issue with Hanzi Study?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Great value!Good app, but we need to have more options ! Like : add traditional characters, hiding pinyin, add a general test including each chapter (or maybe the chapters of your choice).

2. However, I was hoping to be able to test my ability to write the characters, which is not a feature this app offers.its decent, still need a dictionary for audio.

Finally after restarting uninstalling and restart installing the app, the male and female Chinese voice for text to speech, and restarting my phone in between each step, I did eventually get voice function to work I loved this app on my old phone, but on my new phone I can't get the sound/pronunciation.

4. Things missing: marking for words you need more work on so you can review it.Simple app to show and teach Chinese characters.

5. Also new feature like custom flash card would be helpful.Very helpful compendium of characters with animated stroke orders.

9. i like the character strokes, excellent featureEXCELLENT! Though it is in Simplified and I live in Taiwan, which uses Traditional, this is still VERY USEFUL and very well designed.

1. Fix Hanzi Study Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hanzi Study: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hanzi Study App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hanzi Study" » Open Hanzi Study » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hanzi Study » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hanzi Study app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hanzi Study servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hanzi Study" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hanzi Study app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hanzi Study might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hanzi Study. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hanzi Study then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hanzi Study not working

2. Fix Hanzi Study Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hanzi Study be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hanzi Study not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hanzi Study may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
