Why should I report an Issue with Plexamp?

1. I just WISH I could set it as my default audio player, so when I press the "play music" on the music widget on the lockscreen, it defaulted to plex amp, but it won't even show up as an option to set as default.

I've used this all for months and I still get it wrong half the time.This is the perfect companion app for Plex if you have a lot of music stored locally on your Plex server, or if you listen to music from someone else's server.

1. Fix Plexamp Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Plexamp: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Plexamp App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Plexamp" » Open Plexamp » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Plexamp » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Plexamp app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Plexamp servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Plexamp" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Plexamp app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Plexamp might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Plexamp. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Plexamp then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Plexamp not working

2. Fix Plexamp Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Plexamp be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Plexamp not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Plexamp may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
