And would not even let me do anything unless I signed up for a subscription.Its very educational and exciting to learn about the geology of your area and this app has helped me tremendously in exploring and teaching my children about what is going on and has been going on geologically around themWow what a ripoff, you can't do anything for free apart from look at ads.

2. It does not have terms of use or privacy policy.Rubbish!!!!!! Totally inaccurate descriptions of rocks and and crystals and as for the ads... There are more ads than the actual content of this app.

3. As for the subscription price... What a joke!!!! It's so obvious that any good reviews for this app are FAKE reviews.Couldn't even identify a quatrz correctly.

4. Also, if you click Terms of Use and privacy policy it takes you to Wikipedia that gives the definition of those terms.

5. Gave me options of gold, jade or jasper for rose quartz and for amethyst.

6. I subscribed to the three day free trial and cannot find the option to cancel anywhere.

7. If I cannot try the app without time wasting interruptions (ads & offers), I'm not buying.

1. Fix Rock Identifier Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Rock Identifier: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Rock Identifier App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Rock Identifier" » Open Rock Identifier: Crystals ID » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Rock Identifier » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Rock Identifier: Crystals ID app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Rock Identifier servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Rock Identifier: Crystals ID" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Rock Identifier app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Rock Identifier might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Rock Identifier. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Rock Identifier then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Rock Identifier not working
