1. I started with a red rock and the only two answers it gave, regardless of subsequent selections, were Hematite and kaolinite.It could have potential but the questions it asks give no description or example for some cases so it doesn't help thr average person trying ti find out what mineral/rock they're looking atyou give this app two attributes and it just ignores them... i said black and pearly and they gave me multicolored dull sub metalic.Showing a white mineral instead of a red mineral.... this is not an accurate appOh if you know all the mineral and rock terms you probably won't even need this app then but unless you know those terms this app is uselessjust installed the app and yet to have an experience of it..It kept showing me the same minerals and skipping questionsDiscription options terrible.

2. Asks a few identifying questions then comes up with a photo of some rock with lots of scientific mumbo jumbo about a rock that looks nothing like the one you described.Even when I changed my responses it only showed me a couple minerals.

3. Would be appreciated.I want to identify a rock i have a photo of, disappointed that it doesn't have the features.

4. However, I'd like it if you added a photo option where you can take a picture of the stone and the results would show up on the bottom of the screen.

5. It is kind of hard for me to describe rocks.

1. Fix Mineral Identifier Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Mineral Identifier: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Mineral Identifier App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mineral Identifier" » Open Mineral Identifier » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mineral Identifier » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Mineral Identifier app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mineral Identifier servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mineral Identifier" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Mineral Identifier app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mineral Identifier might not work.
