The free version (so you can try it) has an 80 character limit but for a few euros that is removed, if you send or receive texts you cannot be without this app on your desktop!Very practical app especially for they who type fast with the keyboard and not so handy to use fingers on the little phone display.

2. The text functionality works but when the phone connects to computer each person I try and text takes a few seconds to refresh before it accepts my new text a little annoying that it doesn't auto sync.

1. Fix DesktopSMS Lite Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart DesktopSMS Lite: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the DesktopSMS Lite App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DesktopSMS Lite" » Open DesktopSMS Lite - SMS from PC » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DesktopSMS Lite » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear DesktopSMS Lite - SMS from PC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DesktopSMS Lite servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DesktopSMS Lite - SMS from PC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check DesktopSMS Lite app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DesktopSMS Lite might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall DesktopSMS Lite. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DesktopSMS Lite then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DesktopSMS Lite not working

2. Fix DesktopSMS Lite Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DesktopSMS Lite be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DesktopSMS Lite not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DesktopSMS Lite may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
