1. Press & Hold on screen to change magnetic field margin.
1. A power drill holding the bobbin and a small magnet stuck to the chuck for the counting and a clamp to hold the trigger and it's almost completely hands free with an accurate winding count.
2. It would be nice to know the specifications (max rpms and +/- X at selected rpm ranges (e.g. 100rpm +/- X1, 1000rpm +/- X2, 10,000rpm +/- X3) if possible...but that is likely a function of phone sensor subsytem as well and may not be something author can predict.
3. Might need to adjust the magnetic threshold (100 uT default) before RPM starts to display, just touch and hold down anywhere on screen until input menu comes up.
4. Seems to have trouble picking up passes over 500 rpm, might need a very strong magnet for higher RPM rates. This will be perfect for winding guitar pickups.
5. However, for small spindles can i suggest a differential activation level ciuld be more appropriate eg if the sine signal is 200 to 205 then a difference above 4 should activate.Garbage. The screen is just blank.
6. Taped a small neodynium magnet to the jar and had my phone under it to measure and adjust the RPM of my variable motor.
7. The screen remains black, without any counter on it.Excellent app man Android said support for only old version of Android but it works perfectly fineWorks gr8 once active level is changed.
8. I like the sensitivity adjustment but as another person indicated it would be nice to be able to detect polarity flips as well...but again, this may be something that is dependent on the phone.
9. :)once I read the instructions and realized you have to place a magnet on the turntable platter, then it worked after resetting the UF parameters.
10. I think this is the only app which is not fake in this kind of apps.It works! Needed something to measure the spin speed of homemade ball mill.
11. Thanks.Would be nice if you could adjust the sound intensity of the counting beeps.
