1. Thank youSometimes the side tone turns on by itself, and unfortunately the EQ mode is unusable since it turns the volume down significantly and it seems like the audio quality drops to a shocking degree, which means that even with a flat, unmodified curve the headphones do not sound like the EQ turned off.
2. If you really need EQ, try an external app like Poweramp Equalizer. So far, so good! The product I have is more advanced with features than I had thought lol I'm very impressed to say the least ❤️ I'd recommend this brand and also obviously have the app connected to your device as well.I cannot connect my ATH-ANC500BT with the apps.
3. For best results, just leave them in stock.Quite literally the best true wireless earbuds app I've used, out of something like 5 at this point! I love the ability to adjust the volume steps while it still controlling system volume (i.e., the volume isn't independent).
4. Some bugs to report: - If the volume steps are 64 and the volume is odd (like 37), it'll round up to the next even number (in this case 38) when you reconnect the ATH-TWX9.
5. Even if it did connect, as far as I can tell, the only useful thing about the app is seeing the battery life of my headphones.
6. Sound quality of the audio technica are very impressive.
7. Volume management and ANC/Pass-through controls are terrible, and there's no way to change them.
8. You can change anything, except how you handle calls. So coming from the Sony wf-1000x4 which has flawless Bluetooth connection.
9. The app will actually detect my headphones and act like it is about to connect, but fails every time.
10. Such a shame, the developers should enable every product to connect to the apps not only a certain model.
11. The audio technica twx9 is by far the most comfortable earbuds I have ever had, I can not stress enough.
