carGO Customer Insights

1. I hope the developers can get it fixedIt's so convenient when I'm at work to be able to get something delivered instead of having to leave, plus if anything is wrong you can call the customer support line, talk to an actual person, and have the issue fixed, even missing items will be delivered, it's awesome.Lots of liars.

2. So far I haven't been able to use the service because the app either claimed my order was not above the $12 minimum requirement (when it was about 4.5 times that) or it couldn't retrieve data from the server, so I couldn't order anything.

3. Highly recommend, tho your mileage may very (exp: drivers friendliness & delivery times etc) only con for me is that I'm not able to put in my specific apartment in the address.

4. i had to call and cancel a lot of orders bc the order defaults to pickup 3 bring back saved address drop down.

5. I have to keep inputting the address of the hotel in staying in, it continously resets the tip, and either the drivers don't read the extra comments (for room number), or they don't have access to it.

6. I'll keep trying it because I want to support them, and I'll revise this review when app actually works for me.Overall Great service, the drivers arrive in a timely manner.

7. Update: I've lost atleast $15 because the app crashes after I request a ride, it loads forever saying "connecting to drivers" so when I hit cancel, there's a $5 penalty for cancelling a ride i didn't even know was coming.

8. Will not be using this app again until some serious fixing is in place.There is no reason that an $80+ order, from a repeat customer... should be refunded.

9. cancelled 2 orders tonight after placing the order bc they closed while ordering 2 when you click on food youre taken directly to the restaurants.

10. It takes over an hour to get an order, and the delivery times are not updated.it crashes everytime I try to open it.

11. Won't recognize my device, doesn't pull my saved addresses, I have to try verifying my number multiple times and still cannot get it to work correctly.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix carGO Issues

1. Fix carGO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart carGO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the carGO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "carGO" » Open carGO - Go Local » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for carGO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear carGO - Go Local app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from carGO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "carGO - Go Local" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check carGO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, carGO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall carGO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall carGO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing carGO not working


2. Fix carGO Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make carGO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to carGO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, carGO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
